Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at this year’s Washington Council of the Blind (WCB) State Convention being held November 1-3, 2018, at theCrown Plaza Seattle Airport, 17338 International Blvd., Seattle, WA 98188.
WCB is an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind and hosts one of the largest state conventions of the blind in the country. We are excited to be back in the Puget Sound area and anticipate exceeding 200 attendees. We want you there for all the fun!
Exhibits will be open on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed during the noon hour for lunch). Set up will begin at 9:00 am with tear down immediately following the 5:00 pm closing. . Vendors are expected to stay, ready for business during these published operating hours to ensure attendees have opportunity to visit all booths.
The cost to exhibit for this event is $100 per six foot table with a maximum of two tables (space permitting). Registration is not guaranteed until the vendor registration form is completed and payment is received in full, and is based on space availability.
Please note:
• WCB’s policy is to give priority to those exhibiting blindness-related products and services.
• To receive power, vendors must check the appropriate box on the registration form and provide their own power cord.
• Parking is complimentary for those registered at the hotel in our room block.
• WIFI is free throughout the hotel including all conference areas.
To stay at the Crown Plaza Seattle Airport at the WCB convention rate of $99 plus tax per night, make reservations by calling the hotel at 206-248-1000 and be sure to mention the WCB convention. October 15, 2018 is the deadline for hotel reservations, registering as an vendor, and registering for the WCB convention.
Although it is not required of vendors, you can show your support for WCB by registering for the convention itself and/or by purchasing a 2018 WCB Convention T-shirt for $15 (sizes small – XL) or $18 (sizes 2XL-5XL). Several registration options are available, as follows:
Early Bird rates, completed by September 15:
$35 – Registration only,
$65 – Registration plus Friday meals only,
$65 – Registration plus Saturday Meals (excluding banquet),
$65 – Registration plus banquet,
$110 – Registration plus meal package (includes up to 5 meals).
Pre-registration rates, completed by October 15:
$50 – Registration only,
$75 – Registration plus Friday meals only,
$75 – Registration plus Saturday Meals (excluding banquet),
$75 – Registration plus banquet,
$125 – Registration plus meal package (includes up to 5 meals).
Onsite rates, completed after October 15:
$75 – Registration only,
$100 – Registration plus Friday meals only,
$100 – Registration plus Saturday Meals (excluding banquet),
$100 – Registration plus banquet,
$150 – Registration plus meal package (includes up to 5 meals).
If you decide to register for the convention itself, be sure to fill out the Convention Registration form in addition to the Vendor registration form.
Important! Vendor Registration must be completed (including payment received) no later than October 15, 2018 to ensure placement in our published Vendors List and is based on space availability.
