Convention Highlights:
Thursday, October 24
Kick off with the WCB Welcome Lounge and browse the Exhibit Hall in the afternoon. Evening activities include the WCB Board meeting followed by meetings of the Constitution and Bylaws and Resolutions committees, as well as hospitality.

Friday, October 25
Begin the day with the Opening Ceremonies, followed by general sessions covering key topics like WCB’s new voting rules, audio description, and more. The Exhibit Hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for your perusal. Following the Awards Luncheon, afternoon general sessions will have us learning about AI, ways to enjoy Alexa and Smart Glasses, and breakouts offering diverse topics from transitioning to senior living to the start-up of a new affiliate for younger adults, programming for guide dog handlers, accessible Legos, and an opportunity to be pampered. The day wraps up with our Showcase of Talent and evening hospitality which includes karaoke.

Saturday, October 26
We’ll kick the day off with an ACB report, inspiring talks from ACB members sharing their creative journeys and the Jobs People Do panel of three individuals who are blind, employed, and ready to share their stories, followed by updates from our three state agencies serving the blind. The afternoon features the Annual Business Meeting including elections, and the night concludes with our banquet where we will present our scholarship winners, hear from Scott Thornhill, Executive Director of ACB, and other surprises. The convention ends with a fun-filled night of live entertainment in hospitality.

Join us for a weekend filled with learning, networking, and entertainment. On-site registration will open Friday, October 25.
