Dear Potential Exhibitor:
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us at the 2016 Washington Council of the Blind (WCB) State Convention being held November 3-5, 2016, at the Seattle Airport Marriott, 3201 S. 176th Street in Seattle, Washington.
WCB is an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind and hosts one of the largest state conventions of the blind in the country. Since we once again find ourselves in the Puget Sound area, we have every reason to expect this year’s convention topping 200 attendees. We want you there for all the fun!
Exhibits will be open on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Set up will begin at 8:00 am. Exhibitors are expected to stay, ready for business, until the 5:00 pm closing time to ensure all attendees have opportunity to visit all booths.
The cost to exhibit for this event is just $35 for a six foot table and $50 for a second table (space permitting). Reservations are not complete until full payment is received.
WCB’s policy is to give priority to those exhibiting blindness-related products and services. Other exhibitors will be considered based on space availability.
For those not staying at the hotel, we are offering a reduced self-parking day rate of $10. To take advantage of this offer, be sure to select this on the registration form.
Since the Exhibit Hall will not close for lunch, as a courtesy to vendors, we have made arrangements for box lunches to be brought to the exhibit hall at noon (optional) at a cost of $25. Those registering for the convention, either the Friday only or all inclusive registration option and who check the appropriate box to have their lunch served in exhibits on the convention registration form need not pay the additional fee for lunch on this form.

To stay at the convention hotel at the WCB convention rate of $99 plus tax per night, make reservations by calling the hotel and be sure to mention the WCB convention. October 15, 2016 is the deadline for hotel reservations, registering as an exhibitor and registering for the WCB convention.
Although it is not required of exhibitors, you can show your support for WCB by registering for the convention itself and/or by purchasing a 2016 WCB Convention T-shirt for just $15. A completed Convention Registration Form is required in addition to the Exhibitors Form if you decide to register for the convention itself. Several registration options are available, as follows:
- Registration only – $35
- Registration plus Friday meals (breakfast and lunch) – $50
- Registration plus Saturday meals (excluding banquet) – $50
- Registration plus banquet – $50
- Registration plus meal package (includes up to 5 meals) – $95
If you decide to register for the convention itself, be sure to fill out the Registration form as well as the Vendors registration form (payment for both registrations may be made in one payment following the completion of both forms on the payment page).
